Marty Jackson is a singer/songwriter from London. From 2009 to recently in 2012, Marty sang and played guitar in the trio Just Me Again with his two friends: Julian Baxter (drums) and Elyar Fox (guitar/vocals). After deciding to split, and playing their farewell tour in April, Marty has now gone solo, embarking on a career of his own.

Although we are yet to hear material written and recorded by Marty since he left the band, it is early days and he is currently frequently working in the studio. For now, he has however, graced us with this amazing cover of 'Set Fire to The Rain' by Adele combined with Oasis' 'Wonderwall'.

After watching Marty perform as part of 'Just Me Again' whilst supporting Mike Fantastic last year, I am only left wondering why he hasn't been snapped up by a record label. His ability to sing both slow and upbeat songs with passion show him to be an excellent performer, and this mixed with his fantastically quirky personality, prove he has what it takes to be successful in the music industry. As a band member, Marty has run up an impressive list of supporting slots with acts such as FutureProof, You Me At Six, Tinchy Stryder, The Saturdays, Twenty Twenty and The Wanted.
