James Poole Covers Michael Jackson's 'Dirty Diana'

James Poole, previously of Class A boyband fame, epitomises the saying 'not just a pretty face'. Releasing weekly covers, James has taken on various hits including The Wanted's Glad You Came, John Mayer's All Of Me and Sia's Titanium.

This week, coinciding with the imminent release of Michael Jackson's second posthumous album Xscape, James has unveiled his cover of the King of Pop's track Dirty Diana. A big song for many reasons, it clearly left the singer worried the cover would be poorly received, when he tweeted "I am actually sick with nerves. You asked me to cover Jacko. So I did. He was/is a God. I hope you like what I've done to #DirtyDiana J X".

However, the cover hit the '301+' view mark in just 15 minutes, a personal record for James. The singer's voice is incredibly powerful and the way he performs is simply engrossing. Although it is a shame Class A disbanded, it is unlikely he would ever have been able to fully showcase his vocal talents amongst five other members. There is no doubt that if a record label do not pick him up, a musical performance company will.
