Video of the Week: Kelly Oliver - Rio

Our Video of the Week goes to Kelly Oliver for Rio!

Hertfordshire-based singer/songwriter Kelly Oliver has been garnering attention in the acoustic folk world since her debut EP launch in 2013. Having just gained her tenth BBC Radio 2 play for her forthcoming single, Rio, Kelly is also heading to various festivals including Camp Bestival, Standon Calling and Cambridge Folk Festival.

Rio is a very timely tune, given it's release of 29th July - just ahead of the Olympics. It features on Kelly's album, Bedlam, released earlier on this year as the follow-up to her debut record, The Land. In all the commotion and negativity in the world at the moment, this track is welcomingly uplifting, with its folk sound underpinned by a wonderful string section and Kelly's falsetto.

Check out the video for Rio below, which features Kelly in a pretty red dress strolling around a green landscape and packing to go on her travels.
